  • Permanent Marker

It's easy to mistake a sharpie for washable marker, but it's not so simple to get permanent marker out of your new favourite shirt. Persil® can help tame an arts-'n-crafts project gone wild, here's how: Before washing or pretreating your garment, try using rubbing alcohol to remove the stain. First place the garment on top of a clean white towel or a stack of paper towels and test a small amount of rubbing alcohol to a hidden, inside spot on the garment. If safe, blot rubbing alcohol onto the stain. Then, move the garment to a clean dry section of the towel. Once you've done this, gently rub stain with Persil® Power-Liquid™. Then wash with Persil® ProClean™ detergent as usual.

In general, keep these important cautions in mind when applying laundry tips:

·         Avoid cleaning wool, acrylic, and silk with laundry products containing enzymes.
·         Always follow garment label instructions when pretreating and laundering your clothes.
·         For coloured garments, test an inside seam for colourfastness.
·         Only follow stain instructions if the garment is washable.
·         If dry clean only, take it to the dry cleaner for stain removal.
