How to wash performance fabrics, sports, and outdoor clothes
Performance and sports clothing includes clothing that's made out of breathable membranes or microfibers like jackets, athletic apparel and performance clothes.
When washing, select the easy-care or delicates washing cycle. (Follow the care instructions on your clothing and fabrics.)
To dry, hang on coat hangers and pull into shape. In the case of fabrics that can be dried in the clothes dryer, select a low temperature. The warm air circulating in the dryer will make the fabric watertight once more.
